Hi Carol Oh so happy you had such a lovely weekend in Blackpool with lots of
yummy food of course the best bit and all that entertainment so lovely it would
all be just my thing and I know our dear Sarah would be in her element with
that Cliff look alike. Oh fancy you getting to kiss him after pulling out the
raffle ticket. Oh hour Sarah will be getting jealous now hahahehehehehe. Oh if
only it was the real Cliff now that would be even better for sure and so
amazing. Oh Carol so happy you had such a lovely time despite the weather not
being so good but so glad it got better as the weekend went on. Yes I agree the
arcades are very good but can be a right rip off for sure but glad you had fun
that's what matters. I used to love those 2 pence machines where you pulled the
arm at the side after putting the money in I found them so easy to use as a
totally blind person but I couldn't work these new machines without any help as
they so complicated and visual. Oh those gifts so cool especially those light
up tennis balls. Oh how cool there was a couple there from Nottingham it's a
small world for sure. Well Carol the email chuckler and number 1 tennis fan we
have all missed you on here all weekend it's been very quiet without you. Oh
the email chuckler suits you very well it's ideal for you I love it. I have
been thinking of you all weekend and wishing I could be there with you. It's so
lovely to have you back with us again. OH Carol I don't blame you not going on
computer last night as you were so tired. So happy you slept so well after such
a hectic but lovely weekend. Well I just chilled out all day Friday and
Saturday. Friday enjoyed the chippy as always after my parents got back from
shopping with all those yummy goodies. I had chicken legs with my chips and
mushy peas as mum got the chicken legs from town. Saturday night had pizza with
cheese and tomato topping and last night had spaghetti on toast as it's always
just a snack on Sundays. I have been having my yummy aero mousses each night of
course and I have started the box of orange sensations that I got for my
birthday so that all important chocolate fix in a big way. Well my dad loved
the golf card I gave him for father's day and Elaine and Simon and kids gave
him lovely cards too. Sadly nothing special was done for him it was just
getting together for about an hour to give cards and that was it. Well now for
the big moment. My mum and I enjoyed that lovely summer ball last night well
worth waiting for of course. We really were the dancing princesses as we both
wore dresses. I wore a long white dress but oh I can't remember what colour my
mum's was. I'm not good at remembering colours as with being a totally blind
person since birth I find colours don't really mean anything to me as have
never seen them so don't know what they are. We did our usual dances my mum's
really getting into it now she's loving dancing as much as I am it's so cool.
The DJ Colin took me for a waltz as he usually does not bad going. We took our
own drinks of orange and crisps. It finished at 11 PM so we were back just
after so it was too late for me to go on computer both me and my mum were so
tired after all that dancing it's very good exercise as well as it being a
pleasurable thing and of course we get to socialise so it's the ideal hobby.
Our next Sunday night dance is on 17 July so look forward to that even more as
I won't have my Tuesday dance by then as it finishes next week till September.
Today I'm having a good chill out ready for being the dancing princess yet
again tomorrow. I'm in today as no blind clubs this week. I'm now having some
lemon cake with a good old cuppa. Yes I know. Shame not chocolate but will make
up for that later of course. It's sunny here today. Well Carol enjoy the
tennis. My parents are glued to it too they love it. Well hope everyone else
