Oh vanessa
that is good now i am not the only one on here with hearing aids
Gosh didn't know you wear two eharing aids
see what I mean now we all finding out about one and other on here just great
yes your spot on there vanessa
yes make best of the life we all have after all life is just too bloody short

I know its hard for most of us but I would hate the thought of getting anybody
upset on here because i can do more then what they can do.
What I mean here now is,
for example because i get out a lot with my carer and if i thought some on here
can't get out at all I would feel really bad
But some times if there is people who never get out at all they might like to
know what is going on around them by us elling them all we do in the day
Before my carer came on the scene my mum was seriusly ill with cancer so my two
sister had no time for me at all they had my lovely mum to look after taking it
in turns but believe me if i could help I would of done
too much problems and very lot of stress was going on in our family so my carer
came to the rescue because my sisters didn't want me to go in to deep
depression and end up stuck in for a long time to come
My mums request were to my sisters is
please do not let our carol down hill because of me keep her going
and that has happened but i was suffering deep inside .
I know its only 5 eyars ago now but i was very lucky indeed because my mum was
a very healthy we had a wonderful time together
My carer came at the right time when she did
I wouldn't have carried on otherwised
my sister julie took ill year before my mum died as our julie had operation on
her tummy as had ulcer that got infection all her inside was full of infection
was ill for two whole weeks at that ime our stella came over to stay with us
but mum looked after me that was just before she came ill year after
Our mathew and James were only like say about
15 and 10 then so one of my brothers had them looked after them
Life wasn't easy believe me

Felt quite sorry for our julie in hospital for 4 days and in bed for fortnight
the operation never took infection was bad .

But anyway yes we all have to get on with our lives in the best possible way
my advice to you all
be happy stay possitive if you got money treat yourselves and go mad
take care
Love Carol x.x.x.x.

hello all, it's so quiet on here today, in answer to your health questions,
Carol, there are many of us on here who have more than just bad eyesight, Steve
has a tiny bit of sight as well as many physical disabilities, he didn't know
what it was that he had until he moved here and our local surgery did a man's
health check as a new patient, he just thought he was clumsy as he is very tall
and has big feet, now we know that the condition is incurable and so will end
up in a wheelchair, I've been totally blind for14 years and have been wearing 2
hearing aids for the last 3, they say it is all part of the diabetes which is
why I envy your chocolate fixes, never mind though as you girls can have my
share, we don't feel sorry for ourselves as we can help each other to giggle at
those who take life a bit too seriously , it helps to make people realise that
even with a disability you can have a good time, when sighted one of my jobs
was as a lady trucker, driving loads all over the country, had the chance to
see and do things that are good to have as memories, but it is always great to
learn new things, get out and about and make others realise how great you are,
so go for it girls, have fun and stay safe and laughing, keep on trucking ha ha
, girls rule, Vanessa xx
