Hi Vannessa Dotty, and I hope you are well. I can understand your feelings about carer's! When I lived in Croydon if I was going food shopping for example I would ask who ever was going with me how much longlife milk have I left they would say you could do with some more, so I got more. One time I endered up with 10 bottles of it! Yes also if I went into Croydon clothes shopping not all of them, but some wouldn't tell what was about! or wouldn't let me feel the clothes etc just like you get. Kind Regards, Lisa and Dotty. ----- Original Message ----- From: "vanessa" <qwerty1234567a@xxxxxxxxx>

it is three pounds fifty for a normal taxi, but disability bus is eight pounds one way, for these four return short journeys it is sixty four pounds, mobility is fifty seven pounds a month, for porthcawl it is twenty pounds one way, if i have hospital, doctors, court etcetera in one week think of the cost that is in just one week not a month and they are not short journeys, also a carer is fifteen pounds per hour, need more than three hours to go to hospital, i know because the carer was going to leave me on my own in the hospital when my three hours was up, but luckily she had no money on her and her car was at my house and she would have had to get a taxi, i had money on me, but i was not giving it to her, as i am petrified of hospitals and i needed her there with me, so i was saved by the bell, but the bad thing is she kept leaving me in the hospital to keep going outside for a signal to her mobile to phone her boss, she was even on the mobile and passing it to me when i was trying to concerntrate on what the doctor was saying, so the poor doctor whose time was precious had to stop while my living coordinator kath and her boss was arguing over the time, do you know how it was for me in a scary hospital with all that going on, when we got to my house, she left my house within her three hours, but all this worry throughout my hospital nightmare is wrong, plus if i go to a shop, the carers are looking for what they want or answering their mobiles or getting money out of the cash machines for themselves etcetera, i know this as i needed two cardigans to keep me warm and i could hear lots of coat hangars moving on metal, you know the noise like someone pushing hangars clink clink clink etcetera, i asked what does this shop sell, she says clothes, what are you looking at, she say i might come back on the weekend to buy these, some nice clothes in here, i say can i feel them, she say no we will try the next shop, all these shops we go in i do not know any name of the shop, i have not felt anything and all i want is two cardigans, i still have not got two cardigans, you know long enough to cover my back and warm like wool, the only one that benefits is the carers, they are shopping for themselves, i do not go shopping every week as ifi have hospital or dentist they take my shopping day off me, so if i need milk, bread, special offers of food at the local shops i cannot go if i need hospital, i have to decide which one in the week to go to, if hospital casualty, that is one hour for travel and waiting room carer says is two hours waiting before you can be seen, now what can i do with balony like that, my daughter is here and sleeping over with my little grandson who is one and she is getting anoyed with me asking her the maths of this email, they have not been here since last month, but i did go to his first birthday party, the only birthday party i have been to, mickey mouse, started this email last night, now it is morning, daniel say it is eight something, gotta go or writing will be long enough for story book.
