Most cats I have come across do this, it happens because they are constantly
washing so they swallow them.
The only way to stop this is to shave your cat ona daily basis.
No sorry for that I was told by a vet why some do and some don't is the type
of coat some get passed throught the body and some get lodged in the
stomached.
