A COLOURFUL SOUL.
I'm like a colourful rainbow,
A diamond in the dark,
Like a WHITE dove flying,
Above Noah's ark.
Sometimes a RED rose blushing,
Sometimes an envious GREEN,
Sometimes BLACK as soot,
Sometimes nice and clean.
My joy as YELLOW as sunshine,
My tears as PURPLE as rain,
My woe as GREY as clouds,
My joy rainbows contain.
I sometimes feel like a queen,
All wrapped up in lots of GOLD,
But those days are rather rare,
When I'm very bold.
I'd hate to be an ORANGE or PEACH,
Up in a big BROWN tree,
And eaten by little boy BLUE,
Or get stung by a bumble bee.
I'd love to wear a pretty PINK dress,
And play with a SILVERy star,
But all my dreams and wishes,
A bit far fetched they are.
But I'm like a colourful rainbow,
A diamond in the dark,
Like a WHITE dove flying,
Above Noah's ark.
You'll know me by my colours,
When it's me you see,
Each day a different colour,
Each day a different me.
