[greenbuild] Comparing sustainability of heating systems

Due to timeline pressure, I need to learn a lot on this subject in a very
short time. Any insights or data you can pass along would be much
appreciated. I'd like to understand better the total ecological costs of
using these systems for backup heating of a well designed passive solar
home in our upstate New York climate.
- New efficient natural gas furnace
- Pellet stove
- Masonry stove + cord wood
