Hello all,
My name is Joey and I have lived in Ithaca for almost 4 years but have
currently taken a job on Long Island. I am very interested in Sustainable
Design and have had an idea in my mind for years about starting a cooperative
environmental home center. (see invite to next event) My love for the nature
stems from a spiritual place and a practical concern for health. 2 events
brought my awareness to our interconnectedness with nature-living in Sweden
when Chernobyl blew up and living in Seoul South Korea, 3rd worst polluted city
in the world, for nearly 3 years.
I have been watching trends for about 10 years now and believe that we (green
builders et al) are on the edge of the next shift in the market. If we come
together we could really make a difference in the way things are done and make
green building the standard.
