Hi, installed the freeware from SDM software (version 1.2) and am attempting to
apply a gpo to an OU on a server running Windows 2003 R2.
This statement works fine on my PC but not on the server (tried a few, all do
the same)
PS C:\Program Files\SDM Software\SDM Software GPMC Cmdlets> Add-SDMgplink -name
"Test Policy" -Scope "OU=XP, OU=Test OUs, DC=testdom, DC=com" -location 1
Add-SDMgplink : Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID
{F5694708-88FE-4B35-BABF-E56162D5FBC8} failed due to the following error:
80040154.
At line:1 char:14
+ Add-SDMgplink <<<< -name "Test Policy" -Scope "OU=XP, OU=Test OUs,
DC=testdom, DC=com"
Other powersheel scripts work which query the AD, but any SDM cmdlet fails
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
