I can think of one use for latitude and longitude. You go to someone's
house and you forgot to set the location as a POI. You realize that it
was the last place you were located when you had GPS running, and you
want to set it as a POI. The command to set current position as a POI
won't work, because you are not located at that spot. You can use the
Latitude Longitude information to set the POI, or you can make note of
it so you can explore the area virtually later.
