Hi,

I've had a BT A Plus receiver for over a year now and have never updated it
either. Should we be doing this sort of thing? How often and, as Jim asks, how
do we do it?

Thanks, Robert

Hello list, I never knew you could update the I-blue receiver.
Would like to know more about how to do that. Thanks, Jim

Subject: [gps-talkusers] GPS View and iBlue737

I'm doing something wrong, and I don't know what it is.
Thanks to info from this list, I've used the GPS View program to
keep my
iBlue receiver updated (737, as I recall.)
Several times recently, I've tried to update my receiver using
GPS View, and
the update doesn't happen after I hit update.
There are many unexplained choices in the program, so I wonder if
I made a
mistake in the past that's preventing the receiver from being
updated.
I've verified in the device manager that the receiver is on the
com port
that I'm accessing in GPS View.
Since it's been a few months since my last successful update, I
may have
forgotten a part of the procedure.
I hope this message isn't too vague. Any thoughts/help
appreciated.
