Tina, Personally, I leave the case opened with it velcroed or magnetized (in the case of the PK) on the other side, leaving the keyboard and Braille display exposed. My fear with closing the case is that i don't have access to the keyboard and the Braille cells may be damaged from the pressure of the case. Chris already answered questions about there being Stationary Mode and the One-Handed Commands. Thanks, Kevin I would encourage you to visit the Chaos World of Assistive Technology Blog at: http://www.chaosat.wordpress.com/ Postings are dealing with the latest and greatest happenings, tips and tricks and other items of interest. -----Original Message----- From: gps-talkusers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:gps-talkusers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of tina and arnold Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 3:44 PM To: gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [gps-talkusers] rotecting the braille display in travel Hi. My plan is to mostly use the braille display for information which. I'm out, and right now when I'm not using the display I just close the case, but would that jar anything, interrupt how the program works? What are other braille users doing? Also, after your comfortable with the program, when yo out walking, is it possible to check sreed, pois around you, that stuff when your walking? my friend said she has to stop a lot. I'm a one handed user so may not need to, but wanted to ask. No virus found in this incoming message.
