Which device are you using? The letter F will give you Poi's around you. It sounds like you are doing the Poi category command with chord-F. Those are the commands for the BrailleNote line. I think the BrailleSense is slightly different in terms of the menuing system.

When I am exploring a position, I often like to see what POI are near by. Repeatedly pressing space with dot 4, occasionally gives me time wasting and useless results. Transit stops from ten miles away, a lake that is over 1,500 miles away etc. The next command will give me the POI that is near where I actually am. Lakes are nice, but I really don't care about them somewhere in Ontario. I am still using Sendero 2010.
