Hi Tina, yes, everything you hear is displayed in Braille. Chris On Fri, 11 Jul 2008 17:54:01 -0700, "Tina B." <tinabir@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:First, thanks everyone who's helped me so far. I've been able to downloadthe tutorial and have gotten it unzipped via the xpprogram , thanks for alertingme to it, and have listened to bits and pieces so far. My question is thatwhen I'm using the gps live, will it show everything on the braille display that I heard announced as Christ walked the route? I live in a heavy trafficarea and have a significant hearing loss already so just want to be sure I will be able to get the info I need on the display. So far this seems amazing and I don't even have mine yet!----- Original Message ----- From: "John Holliday" <john.holliday@xxxxxxx>To: <gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, July 11, 2008 5:02 PM Subject: [gps-talkusers] Re: A.C. adapter questionHi Charles,On the two-piece AC adapter I'm talking about, the plug that goes in to the wall seems a bit fatter than a regular plug, and there are no holes onthe prongs. Yes, I did buy the unit from Sendero. Are the two prongs at the round? If so that is a UK power adapter and you need to exchange that for a USA one. Did you buy this from Sendero? There must have been a mixup when Humanwareshipped out the adapter for your BrailleNote. Please call your dealer tostraighten out the problem if it is indeed an incorrect power adapter issue. If it's in two pieces, the plug which goes in to the wall is smooth all the way around, and will not fit in either a wall socket or power strip. If it's in one piece, when I plug both ends in to there respective places, I get the message "adapter off", when I check battery status! Thisis highly frustrating, since I'm at 60% and want to put the GPS through its paces. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
