Zach, There is no way to uplink to a satellite with a satellite receiver. A receiver doesn't transmit.Second, the GPS satellites aren't internet-relay birds. So, there is no wayto do what you want. Third, there are internet satellite services, but the one's I'm aware of require fixed location. If you want mobile access, probably the easiest way is to tie your BrailleNote to a cellphone equipped with a data card that will work on your cellular datanetwork.----- Original Message ----- From: <chickerland@xxxxxxxxx>To: <gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, April 12, 2009 11:16 PM Subject: [gps-talkusers] Re: internet via GPS satelites My question was regarding the same issue, but with the Hollux M1000?----- Original Message ----- From: "Howard Kaufman" <wa9top@xxxxxxxxx To: <gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date sent: Sun, 12 Apr 2009 22:05:16 -0500 Subject: [gps-talkusers] Re: internet via GPS satelitesyou can use the braille note to get on the internet but you willprobablyneed a wifi card and be near a wireles connection that is open todo it.
