Hello,
I would say that if you have the Holux and are happy with it then
you might want to stay with what you have.
I purchased the m 1000 because my 236 died.
With the m 1000 the battery last longer, and I notice that I
receive satellites in places I did not with the 236.
I also have noticed, that when walking slower, it will still give
the information I need.

Hello all, I just got back on this list. I would like to know
what are the significant advantages over the previous holux
receiver? Is holux m1000 really worth buying? I currently have
Sendero 4.0 with the holux 236.
