Hi Mike,
If I could only use my bn for one thing, it would be the gps program. It has been a life-changer, pluss the fact that all the other things that I can do with my bn can be achieved with my laptom.
Just for the hell of it, I'm going to suggest "mapex".
Cheers, Richard.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] new talking maps product

Announcing the impending release of a brand new Sendero product!
The
problem is that we can't release it until we have a name.
Suggest a
name and if we choose it, you will receive this new Sendero
product
for free. We will choose a name as soon as we find one we like
or by
October 31 at the latest.

We have created a maps-only version of the Sendero GPS product
for
the BrailleNote. This "maps" version has all the virtual and
explore
mode features of the GPS product and then some. This maps only
version is particularly nice for students and those who need and
want
to learn about their surroundings but aren't quite ready to walk
around independently with a GPS device. And, it is half the
price of
the full GPS software.

Some may recall the Atlas product from Arkenstone in the 90s.
The
Sendero maps product is a modern version of Atlas, not a name we
can
use by the way.

Email your product name suggestions to maps@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The name should ideally be one word, possibly two. For example,

Couch Potato by Sendero Group

Mapster by Sendero Group

Have fun and submit as many names as you like. Let us know if
you are
submitting on behalf of a school. If more than one person
submits the
same name suggestion, the person who submits first will win the
prize
of the free Sendero maps product or its value off Sendero GPS.

Until we have a name, preorder Sendero Maps for $699, $100 off
the
list price. Oh, and by the way, I will throw in a signed copy of
Crashing Through for the winner. We like to involve users in the
development of our products. This is the first time you get to
name it.

Sincerely,

Mike May

President
