Instead of recommending a phone, it would be easier to
suggest
visitingVerizon Wireless and asking what type of Windows Mobile
phones
areavailable. This will allow for you to check out the
phone and
ensure youlike it based on a phone and all of its features.

the HTC S740 is an unlocked GSM phone, which means as
far as the
USgoes, it would be AT&T or T-Mobile.

is this in version 4.22? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brett" <brettsta21@xxxxxxxxx To: <gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, March 30, 2009 9:49 PM Subject: [gps-talkusers] Re: my experiences with trains
Hi Zack,
I don't think that the point. If streets are close
enough to
the railway,Sendero will think your on them, but this isn't reallypracticaluse whenon a train. However, setting your GPS to only announce
the
Transportationcategory will alert you to the train stop your
approaching,
ifyou wantthat much information. Other wise, just set the
destination
tothe stopprior to the one you need and turn off all othernotificationsand youwill get an alert when you need to get off. These are
two
practical waysto use GPS on a train.
Cheers, Brett.

Hello fellow list members,I just got off a railroad in the Albuquerque, NM
area. I
wanted toshare my experiences with you regarding the previous
weeks
talkaboutusing GPS on railroads. Basically, what I think: The
GPS
turnedoutaccurate half of the time; the other half it still
showed
that Iwas onneighboring streets or near "unnamed." I even recorded
some
ofthe routewith the Mpower, but it was not as clear as I hoped it
to
be.
Have a good rest of the week
