You can not just rename the file what was the file extension before? maybe the file was a zip maybe it was an exe renamed to exb so your email program wouldn't delete it. What was it originally on you windows machine?

I put ksi for the extension. Now it finds the file. Except now it says, is not a valid win 32 file.

What is the extention of the attachment, is it ksi or zip?
if you are running ks 7.2 or later you can hit i from the
utilities
menu. that looks for ksi files.
if it was a zip file you need to unzip it first.
Hope this helps.

I am trying to up grade to 4.0. Here is what I am doing, please
tell me what I am doing wrong. I detach the attachment into the
none folder on my compact flash card. I go to utilities then
install but the only thing I see is 3.5. However, I see the
attachment in keyword. Oh yeah, I did the 1-2-3 reset first.
