That is interesting and I did turn on the receiver first but perhaps did not wait long enough before turning on the application. I went outside, and it improved. Karen

That happens occasionally with trekker, and what I do is to shut
down
the application and the GPS receiver, and turn on the receiver,
and
restart the application. When you want to use the system, do you
turn
on the receiver first? I have found that the system comes up
faster if
you turn on the receiver, and wait a minute or two before
starting the
application.

Hello, I turned on my gps and it says acquiring satellites but
just sits
there for quite a long time. How long should I wait for it to do
this?
I noticed it's seems easier to get the satellites early but now
it's
around noon and nothing much comes up. Why is this? Karen
