Richard,
Not sure if you ever received an answer to your question about
the option of
obtaining the GPS installation file from the website. Yes, this
is possible.
You will want to visit www.GoSendero.co and log in using your
serial number
and the password that was provided. And, under the product
section, you will
find the GPS product file, Changes document and all docuemnts
pertaining to
4.22.
Thanks,
KevinI would encourage you to visit the Chaos World of Assistive
Technology Blog

tips and
tricks and other items of interest.

Hi Chris,i hope you don't mind contacting you off-list, but i thought it
would be
better to do so.
i bought my pk from sendero in the us because i was offered quite
a good
deal, and it enabled me to save the organisation that was funding
me here in
the uk some money.
as i already had the gps on my m-power, on which the braille
display doesn't
work hence me wanting something else with braille on it, sheila
put the gps
program on my new pk.
my serial number is 101414.
at the moment, i can't locate the disk that came with the pk.would it be possible for me to download the program from your
site and put
it on a compact flash card so that i can install it. thanks a bunch, richard.

Hello, this is taken from the Sendero Frequently asked Questions
After I install and run GPS I get the message "You do not have an appropriate license to run this application". If you receive this message there might be a few things going onhere.1. The GPS forgets that it is licensed to this machine. Performano-key RESET and try entering the application again. 2. If the above fails to work, try reinstalling the GPSapplication.Be sure to perform the 1-2-3 or S-D-F RESET before reinstalling GPS. 3. Please check your serial number and make sure you areinstallingthe GPS program file that matches your serial number. To check the serial number on your device from the Main MenupressSPACE with I on the BT and READ with I on the QT. then press SPACE twotimes. If your serial number does not match the serial number in Brailleonthe bottom of the BrailleNote please contact the dealer where your BrailleNotewaspurchased.

Hi, after doing a reset on my pk, as one has to do from time to time, i'm getting the following message when i try to start the gps on my pk. you do not have a valid licence to run this application. How can i get it to work?
I have had to do all the various resets on my pk in the past, but this has never happened before. the other thing i have noticed is that the address list has gone back to the default address list. all the addddresses still seem to be there, but there are fields which i have deleted that are now there, and ones which i put in when i altered it that are not there now.
regards, richard.
