Robert,

To look up POIs near a particular intersection , you will want to perform
an Address Lookup.
1. N for Navigation
2. V for Virtual mode
3. SPACE with S (READ with S) to Set an Address
-Enter State: (first few letters should do)
-Enter CIty:
-Enter Address Number: (Press ENTER to bypass this and to go to the Street
Name field)
-Enter Street Name: (Enter one of the street names and a list of
cross-streets will appear)
-Define this address as your Virtual Position.
4. Do A for a list of POIs within a quarter of a mile or to be specific,
do a SAPVE with F with fields for distances, categories, subcategories and
string.

Kevin

Yes, a gps replay. When you are in live navigation. Press space-q to begin

a trace file. Give it a name and press enter. Once you close SenseNav, you

will find the file located in the ReplayFiles folder. It will have a trc
extension. We are working on getting out a tutorial out soon. It will be
similar to the BrailleNote one, but based on the Voice Sense and Braille
Sense.

By a trace file, do you mean a GPS replay? I've never tried that
feature. However I will try using it in the future, and send it to you.
I'm not sure what the quality was, but I think I may have been moving too

slowly.
I listened to the audio tutorial from Sendero last night and it was
fairly helpful. I wish Sense Nav had a similar tutorial.

Can you record a trace file and see if it happens so you can send it
to us so we can test it? Also, when this happens if it happens
again, what is your gps quality?

        Hi,
So I was walking around town last night trying to get used to
using Sense Nav. I was with a sited person, and noticed that
while it identified the near POIS correctly, it always said that
they were to the left even though they were in fact on the right
side of the street, where I was walking. Also, there were a
couple of instances where I was literally right next to a place
but I never got a "look around poi" message indicating it was
there. Do I need to ajust my settings? Could I be wearing the
receiver incorrectly? I am using the Hollux M-1000 clipped to
the shoulder strap of the VS/SyncBraille carrying case. I
normally hold it so the port used to charge it is facing
downward and the light that flashes is on the front. Sometimes
it ends up being sideways when I'm walking, but the light is
        still facing forward.
         Thanks in advance.
         Eric
