You have DBW and DBM, are you using the same weighting factor like A weighting?

Hi Kevin,
I think you have a typo in your statement on the Holux Slim 236
Its receiving satellite signal strength is
Minimum signal tracked: -159dBW

The M-1000
Minimum signal tracked : -159dBm
Bluetooth input sensitivity: -85dBm

So the satellite signal strengths are identical.

The biggest difference is the chipset being used the MTK MT3318 vs the Sirf III for the Slim236 and the # of channels to track satellites 32 vs 20 for the Slim236.

Hello,

I can't recall who asked about the DB rating of the Holux, but here it is:

*  Bluetooth Input Sensitivity: -80dbm
* Low sensitivity of receiving satellite signal : -189 dBW

I couldn't find the one for the M-1000 but recalled that it was either the same or even lower.
