Hello Patrick,
We are interested in anyone who has data for us. If you have connections with the transit authority in your area, then check to see if they are willing to release their data to us, then we just need to figure out if its in a format we can use.

Cheers.
Charles.

That is our hope Scott.
We are in the process of standardizing our POI database and once that is in place we will aggressively go after transit authorities to obtain their data.

Charles and team, a follow up question if it's ok. (along the same topic) Don't Agencies such as BART or the VTA have pre-existing GPS maps that you can capture? (I mean in an automated mannor). One of the really attractive parts about your product is the user sharable points of interest. You would think some of these agencies could dump in some sort of standardized format their own "points of interest" and streamline the process.

Thank You
Scott

Hello Leslie,

Holux is just your GPS receiver and has nothing to do with POIs or bus stops.

The bus stops we currently have are for Portland OR, Charlotte NC, Austin TX, and some user defined bus stops users have created themselves and sent to Sendero (Robert Stigile) is one such person who has mapped out the bus stops where he lives.

We are planning on also adding very shortly the bus stops for Madison WI.

If you want to download these bus stops you can do so from the Sendero "Free Downloads" web site

http://www.senderogroup.com/mysendero.htm
Click on "Free Download"
Then click on <http://www.senderogroup.com/poi/400user.zip>User POIs for 4.0

Sometimes I read and heard about the bus stops in GPS. Does it include our
Hoiux program? If yes, tell me how to use it.
