Hi Jim,

If you search for a POI by address we place you at the street. Once you get
there you can then on your own find the actual door of the business and
create a user POI for this store. Then you will have a more accurate
location for creating routes and finding this POI in the future. But one
big caveat is that if the location of the door is closer to a side street
then automatic routes may create a route to the side road and you may not be able to physically get there from here. This is why we haven't implemented
the feature yet, we first have to create the route to the correct street
address and then the final Waypoint being the "at-door" location of the POI. This is the ultimate goal and we are not quite there yet, but as I said the
building blocks are in place to make this happen. Now I just need time :)

Thanks

Charles:

So does that mean that, if I obtain a POI by finding the address or Postal
Code, I will then be able to travel to that POI and then perform an
automatic recalculation of the GPS coordinates for accuracy?

Thanks.

Hello Jim,

Yes updating a POI's location is on our wish list, we actually have the
building blocks already in place with the 2nd set of coordinates for every
POI. We just haven't set up the UI or routes to take advantage of this
updated location. One of these days I will get to implement that :).

As for your question on adding to existing routes, yes you can already do
this, just load an old route and you can add to it.

Thanks

Subject: [gps-talkusers] BrailleNote GPS 6.0 questions.

Hi Folks:

A couple of questions:

1. Is it possible, with key commands, to update the GPS coordinates to an
existing POI or WaighPoint? If not, it's a good idea.

2. Is it possible to extend an existing manual rout at a later date?

Thanks gang.
