Hi Jim,If you search for a POI by address we place you at the street. Once you getthere you can then on your own find the actual door of the business and create a user POI for this store. Then you will have a more accurate location for creating routes and finding this POI in the future. But one big caveat is that if the location of the door is closer to a side streetthen automatic routes may create a route to the side road and you may not be able to physically get there from here. This is why we haven't implementedthe feature yet, we first have to create the route to the correct streetaddress and then the final Waypoint being the "at-door" location of the POI. This is the ultimate goal and we are not quite there yet, but as I said thebuilding blocks are in place to make this happen. Now I just need time :) Thanks Charles M. Thanks.----- Original Message ----- From: "Charles LaPierre" <charles@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 13, 2009 7:04 PM Subject: [gps-talkusers] Re: BrailleNote GPS 6.0 questions on updating POI coordinates and manual routesHello Jim, Yes updating a POI's location is on our wish list, we actually have thebuilding blocks already in place with the 2nd set of coordinates for everyPOI. We just haven't set up the UI or routes to take advantage of this updated location. One of these days I will get to implement that :). As for your question on adding to existing routes, yes you can already do this, just load an old route and you can add to it. Thanks Charles M. Hi Folks: A couple of questions:1. Is it possible, with key commands, to update the GPS coordinates to anexisting POI or WaighPoint? If not, it's a good idea. 2. Is it possible to extend an existing manual rout at a later date? Thanks gang. " He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose.
