The Transpose entry under Lime's Note menu is useful for transposing the
written pitch of a note or a series of notes. That is, if the written pitch
of the currently highlighted note is G and you choose Note | Transpose,
entering +2 will move the written G up 2 half-steps or semitones to be
written as A.

In Lime's Key Signature dialog which you can open with CONTROL+K, you have
the option to alter the written pitch or, in the case of writing for the
B-Flat clarinet, you can alter the written pitch to read up 2 semitones
while keeping Lime's playback to sound at the actual pitch.

Hi, Angela.
It's under the "Note" menu. I have no idea how to use it, so someone else
will need to chime in. *smile*

Hi again.

A little while ago, I remember finding how to transpose an instrument in my
piece. Now I've come to write a new piece with a Bb clarinet, and I can't
find where to transpose it; can someone help please?

Many thanks!
