Ah ok, very cool! Sound Design isn't something I've tried yet, but I should investigate it. You kind of need to have your hand in many things these days. The college I went to for jazz has since added some recording, some electronic music, some film scoring, a Beatles ensemble, a Tower of Power ensemble, etc. etc. trying to give people a much more diverse experience. When I went there only six years ago, it was jazz or classical, period.
