Hi David,
I noticed your question to others on the list about an image printer. I
have used universal document converter to print bitmap images of PDF files
that I can run through sharpeye. I don't know if this is the best one or if
it will help you. You can find a free demo of this software online to try.

Thank you for this news! I am sure I am not alone in asking for more
details you mentioned you could provide. What exactly is an image
printer?
Is it a piece of software? Is there one you particualrly recommend? I'm
assuming you are not talking about a hardcopy printer, since you mention
not
needing to use a scanner. I'm sure there are other questions I should be
asking which I don't know, so whatever details you have, please share. I
am
going My summer program has at least five vocalists coming, and I would
like
to have them be cognizant of this process. Also, have you thought about
making the materials you have produced and formatted for braille available
on a Web site? If it's public domain maybe it wouldn't be too big a
problem. Or, stretching the idea further, maybe the CD company would be
interested in including a braille folder on the CD itself.
