LIMA (LATIN PRESS) : "We need-an educational peace, cultural, social,
political, economic and financial, that leads us to theimperious conclusion of
conceptualizingit as the creator of the largest national and global conquests,
since a spoiled peace is worth nothing- dressed in the nicest moral hypocrisy
garments -, disharmonized by hunger, suffering and the misery of our people,
beautiful on paper, though in practice it is vilified by the policy of the
disloyal, of the scoundrels, of a corruption that reeks of death and decay and
offends morality and dignity of our societies. A peace with deceits, with
hatred and without social justice is always will be always worse thana
fratricidal war. "
So expressed the Peruvian poet and writer, Carlos Garrido Chalén, World
Literature Prize"Andrés Bello " 2009 from Venezuela, pledging that " war is
very wickedregardless of how plentiful it can be justified", but " worst is
the peace of the hypocrites and the wretched, the corrupts who conspire against
the soul and the resources of our peoples, the lyrical and upstartand
inconsequential peace of those who live like pashás, ignoring that while they
can eat, and even in excess, there are plenty of children and young and old
from our forgotten townships who go to bed with nothing in their stomach,
because they lack the most minimal resources to live a dignified life and
survive misery ".
Garrido Chalén, Founder President of the Hispanic-World Union of Writers(HUW),
which represents more than four thousand scribes over seventy countries on the
Planet, said “It is not true that if there is no war, peace will bespontaneous.
That is a simplistic, anemic way to define peace, in which unfortunately many
“pacifists” have fallen into, some in good faith and other in debauchedlineage,
because peace is not merely the antithesis of a warfare or social conflict. A
war is ended or a conclusion is set to a social conflict, and still peace
might be absent, if mankind does not understand that to secure it, it must
be rationally moral, spiritually inherent - and that has to do with the
forging of values and the best of feelings, but also with the balance of the
political and economic atmosphere upon which it is secured ".
Over the base ofa thesis summarized in his essay entitled " If That is Peace,
Give Us Back The War," the Tumbesino writer, author of some thirty books
published in the genres of poetry, short stories, novels and essays, annotates
that "peace, is worthless, if not pursue with social justice; neither has a
transcendental meaning, if it does not promote progress, since peace with
nothing, does not hold a future. To have it, it got to be molded by the
ideal of an historical truth, that is not done by foolish historians who
walk around thinking more about their ego than in what history promotes for
the forgotten people, many of them in extreme poverty, who do not live from
pyrrhicpolitical speeches or is assembledby the madness of professional
politicians promising to appear as saviors when there will be elections, and
amnesia and oblivion wins them, when a vote does not to fill their
selfishness. "
Carlos Garrido Chalén , Peace Universal Ambassador, of the Circle of
Ambassadors of the Peace from Geneva, Switzerland; Paris, France, who in 1992
won the First National Biennial "Casa del Poeta Peruano" and in 1997 received
from the National Institute of Culture (now Ministry of Culture ")the
distinction "Living Cultural Heritage of the Nation" along the most outstanding
writers of the South American country, says," in time of peace, war against war
should be made, not to put into motion a peace patched with lyricism, which
preserves ancient miseries, which thrives on unfulfilled promises, that calls
on useless touristic meetings in Congress, while the people die of hunger,
but to defend life. "
"Right now, when humanity has reached the highest degree of scientific and
technological development, multiplying wealth in unprecedented ways, the
countries from all Continents, in full modernity, are facing one of the most
severe financial and economic crises - which are both a crisis of values and
principles - in its history. In this fact, produced by moral corruption,
dehumanization, greed, consumerism, selfish individualism and the loss of the
sense or meaning of life, have contributed countless " mega corporations " more
interested in defending their rights than in valuing life, variegated financial
credit institutions, that for ambition, and under vile strategies, have loaned
more than what their customers can pay: even the human race itself, which has
destroyed the traditions and customs, values and principles that the main
traditional cultures of the world have established over centuries, but also
peace which is the most beautiful aspiration of the Planet”, he asserted.
“So peace is not an innocuous question, without constituent elements orsimply a
bubble with nothing in it, considered as the antithesis of war, but the most
complex multi element, for which we must work, by specialization, to define its
succeeding contours. The “globalcrisis” matters to the peace of the Planet and
has to do with the responsibility of man towards life. With crises, peace has a
broken arm and a stroke. And so, their motivations and implications are
becoming even more complex."
" That, Carlos Garrido Chalén ends up concluding, obliges the bearers of
peace - the false and true ones- to understand that such cannot prevail while
that crisis that disfigures the face of the world population do exists and
collects the account from them, demanding that they cease to be the mere
catchphrasesof hollow and irrelevant and ignorant slogans without future that
mediocre and newcomer do spread around, for the crisis requires consensus, but
above all to improve our understanding, to acquire an expertise, to defend the
man, peace and life. The tremendous financial crisis that plagues the world
definitely is a war conflagration without bullets, or cannons or gunpowder or
fire, but with much misery, immorality, distress, hunger and social
disintegration against peace. Therefore: to achieve real peace, we must make
war on those pollution agents.

Asunto: [UHE] POEMA "LOS PAISAJES DE LA RECOMPENSA"
QUERIDOS AMIGOS Y AMIGAS:
UNA VEZ MÁS LES ADELANTO UN POEMA DE MI PRÓXIMO LIBRO TODOS SOMOS WHITMAN
PORQUE LES PERTENECE A TODOS UDS. QUE SON PAISAJES DE MIRECOMPENSA.
CON UN FUERTE Y AFECTUOSO ABRAZO
PAISAJES DE LA RECOMPENSA
Asesinada por la feroz tormenta,
relámpagos de filos ruidosos,
la hierba se baña con los cristales del aguacero
y, bajo el préstamo de su humedad, florece.
Copiosos sus brotes y los éxtasis,
responden al tacto que intensifica la promesa,
el tallo, los perfiles mezclados
en el tumulto feliz de la cópula,
la verdad erecta de otro sueño empapado.
El sol y la noche son los cómplices
de las gotas y suspiros, el paisaje verde
de hierba, maíz y trigo, en el lecho.
Tributa la recompensa del latido.
No tiene precio.
Avanza en el blanco de la vida,
sin pérdidas, con la suavidad fertilizante
de
las lluvias y sus besos.
Necesidad del cuerpo, la naturaleza;
se proyecta en el algodón de las semillas,
flecos rojos de amapolas,
hacia el horizonte siempre renovado.
Mi padre, ortodoncista, noventa y cinco años,
más de treinta biznietos, sin cansancio en sus genes,
me comunicó ayer que estaba haciendo tareas rurales,
con la hierba, en el patio agradecido de la casa.
Es uno de los paisajes,
con el corazón
de mi recompensa.
