Irma...It's correct that the transfers in the checking account should show the savings account in the Category field. Have they cleared on the paper statement yet? It's possible that either they did not download for some reason or when you downloaded them you did not match them up correctly. Check to see if you have any downloaded transactions that are not yet "accepted". If they have cleared on the paper statement and are correctly entered (i.e., the savings account shows that the transfers were made to the checking account in the Category field, and in the checking account, it shows that the transfer came FROM the savings account in the Category field), then you can clear them when you reconcile to the paper statement.
