Teilhard most likely in Hell.. Supposed to be Priest, but a liar and a cheat..
faked the peking man for his evolutionary cabalistic mates. I would not even
label him catholic..

He was French Jesuit priest who trained as a paleontologist and a
philosopher, but although he believed in God, he was an evolutionist
too! Being a believer that it was the mechanism by which God created the
heavens and the Earth, and greatly annoying the church for less literal
interpretations of the bible. Of course, I don't believe evolution was
the mechanism of the creation, but I don't believe the bible is
infallible either. Interestingly, it was Peter who mentioned 1,000 year
long days but this too is not a literall interpretation.
Teilhard was present at the discovery of "Peking Man", and also
conceived such crazy ideas as the Omega Point and the Noosphere. When I
picked up on Phillip's quote, I complemented it in it's own right, it
stands alone and I was not necessarily endorsing the teachings and life
long studies of Teilhard.
