I noted this comment by Julian Huxley..

In essence, this is Man made God, the real war where Lucifer decided the same
thing for Heaven. I wonder whether Huxley would be as confident today as his
political masters conspire for the final chapter, that which he acknowledged to
be unpleasant. Perhaps he did see the necessity of culling the weeds of
humanity from the select elite, and agreed with it, but methinks his masters
have gotten a tiger by the tail...
