During the last three months, I have spent a great deal of my spare time
preparing a submission to the forum and I would be saddened by the loss of
opportunity to present it. I am unable to do this immediately and ask a further
indulgence -- a general stay of execution for one month.

Dear Philip and Paul,
I have been considering your contributions to our discussions. I thank you both
for your inputs over the years, but there is clearly nothing to be gained by
your remaining on this forum. It is therefore time to part company, so to
speak. I will wait until you have both had a chance to submit a final post
before unsubscribing you, such that you can have "the last word."
If anyone else decides to leave at this point, whether due to this decision or
not, then please unsubscribe yourselves and accept my thanks for all of your
efforts.
When I go through the membership list tomorrow, I may decide to remove those
that have been completely dormant for a long time.
It is time to rekindle the geocentric flame and only those committed to this
goal will play an important part. Having reviewed the Moon rotation posts, I
see that this objective is not going to be met with the current membership as
it stands.
My very best wishes to Philip, Paul and anyone else who decides that this is
the right time to leave. (And, by the way, my very best wishes to those who
decide to stay and play a positive role!!)
