Does anyone know why it takes 39 minutes
longer to fly East to West, than from
West to East on this flight:
Air Canada Airbus A319-100
Vancouver to Toronto = 4 hrs 23 min
Toronto to Vancouver = 5 hrs 02 min
Is the answer Jet Steams?
Jet streams flow from west to east in the upper portion of the troposphere.
