This has happened to us a few times where City Navigator and Nroute can't find the GPS. I know this is a late response and you've probably tried these things, but, just in case... Instead of asking it to navigate, do you have "the send to" and "receive from" GPS options on the screen? Try the "send to" option; normally, this jump starts things for us and not being a techie I'd have no explanation why. Also, be sure to totally shut down don't have any other (mapping) programs open that may have put dibs on the GPS. Nancy ----- Original Message ----- From: Gale R. I have the gps hooked up to the computer but I can't get it configured. When I try to configure the gps, the streets & trips configuration box shows COM4 as the current port. I scan to try to find the gps and it shows "No gps device was found" for COM4, COM5 and COM6. If I click on Start GPS Tracking in streets & trips, it gives me this message: The com port is available, but no signal is being received. The gps interface page shows it is connected. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks. Gale
