I can't speak for the maps, but the Garmin 60CSx is a very nice unit, you
will really like it. The controls aren't all that hard to get used to after
having that Magellan, they are similar in some ways.
The micro sd card that came with ours were 64mb I think, we have a 512 & a
1 gig now, and since we don't travel often, we are ok with that. If you
travel regularly, you might try several smaller cards, and have each for
separate
areas etc, but that is up to you.
We don't have any trouble with the compass however, mine works fine. Go
ahead & get the 60CSx, and if you have any questions about it, just ask
around,
there are plenty of users around to answer them.
