There are quite a number of mfrs of these packs these days, but CamelBak =
is
still the 600 lb gorilla in the group. I've been using one or the other =
of
their packs for ~ 10 yr for mountain biking.

Probably the best thing you can do to determine which model of theirs is
best would be go to www.camelbak.com and step through their 'Product
Selector' to determine which best fits your needs. It will ask which
activity you intend to use it for, how long you generally stay out, and =
how
much gear you normally carry......and then recommend at least a couple =
diff
models.

Though I could be wrong, I doubt you'd want to use the same model for =
skiing
(assuming we're talking resort DH type skiing vs long distance cross
country) as you would on longer geocaching adventures. I would *guess* =
you
probably carry significantly more gear while caching than you'd likely =
carry
while skiing. And the model you'd need for carrying all your caching =
gear is
likely to be too big to fit under a ski jacket.....though it's certainly
possible the same bladder could be used in both.
