Dan, I fully understand. When I cache out of town, I do exactly the same.

Bernie,

I really do like doing puzzle and harder caches and one of the most
enjoyable and fun caches I have done to date was Rich's Daryl and Daryl but
I know a lot of cachers who live away from an area just don't want to spend
all day or even a few hours doing a single or 2 or 3 caches. When I come to
St Louis, Columbia or anywhere else I have to drive a ways I look at easier
caches preferably single stage though I am not adverse to multis as long as
I don't have to wrack my brain figuring out each stage. It is a personal
choice on my part and nothing against the placers of complex caches. If I
lived close to that type of cache I would work on the stages a little at a
time and then go after the grand prize. I am just trying to maximize my time
and the number of caches I can find in the little amount of precious time I
have for caching.
And some day when I have finish all the easy ones or when I have more time I
will be doing and trying all the harder ones too.

My 'ON THE BALL' GCMW25 will be three years old this month. It was the
first of its kind in the St.Louis area. None like it had ever been around
these parts. It has had 20 finds and 9 no finds. I do believe that most
cachers are for the run and grab caches. Bernie
