Bernie,

I said we were considering it.   Got to check out what all goes into it first.

We don't want to step in over our heads and drown.   LOL

My question is where does all the attendence prizes come from?  Member donations or what?

Thanks

Jen

-   Jen, good to hear that you are stepping forward. I know it will be a success with the interest you are showing this early in the game. I was in charge of both auctions and they were a big success. I don't recall the figures, but I know we made over $100 on the last one. I think it would be great if we put SOME of the attendance prizes in to the auction. I would be happy to run it again. Quiver River was a really neat place for the picnic. It has electric, many tables, very nice large pavilion and two very large BBQ pits. It is also out of the way of the public. Bernie.

Yes, I know it isn't fall yet.

However Matt and I are thinking about maybe hosting a picnic.  If nobody minds us wanting to do this.

I have spoken with Mike - Brawny Bear and he said post my questions to the group.

Now the questions.

What has worked best in the past for picnics?

I know I heard about an auction, I think it was a silent auction.  What about that?  Did it work?

Or any other ideas or suggestions.

I like to think ahead and plan ahead on things sorry if this is too soon to think about the fall.

Thanks
Jen
