We're still out of power in North County. The Ameren site says 9058 people 
are served in the 63137  zip code and 8811 are without power.  I'm grateful 
that at least one friend is NOT in the 8811 and at about the 20  hour mark 
we'll have somewhere to take a freezer full of meat.

Right now the husband has run an extension cord from the power inverter in 
the car through  the house, into the basement and plugged in the wireless 
router.  We DO have priorities. (Plus we're tracking a Fed-Ex shipment for a 
pool liner  that should have been in several days ago, but now appears that 
Fed-Ex has destroyed  in shipping...)
