[gameprogrammer] How to skin in MED?

I have MED and have been using it to create tons number of models in the
past...now that i am on course of developing my first game the need has
risen to color the models.....But the skin editor in MED is extremely
difficult to use...So can someone please suggest an alternative method or
how i can use skin editor i MED..
