Hyperlinks?

Is it possible to create hyperlinks using FTC? This would be very
important for my applications as most of them are based on or feature
heavily some form of hyperlinking within text.
I imagine it would be possible to get half way there with some kind of
custom style (blue text & underline) - the questions are I guess 1)
can a style have a custom cursor associated with it (so the mouse
cursor changes to a hand, or whatever, when passed over the style) and
2) can a bit of custom data (such as a command to execute or a URL) be
attached to a range of text in a certain style such that when a click
event is fired the custom data can be retrieved for the range of text
click on?
Thanks for any help!
