I'd advise using a sample editor like cool edit 2000 (http://www.syntrillium.com) to do this sort of conversion, rather than an mp3 player than happens to export to wav. I'd liken it to using a screwdriver as a chissel; it might sort of do the job but the results won't be ideal ;-). I suspect music match to be buggy here :-(.
