That sounds logical. If I were to use Cool Edit 2000, can I batch =
convert a group of files or do I have to do this per sample? Do you =
know if SoundForge 5.0 can convert mp3 to wav? Thanks again Andy.

I'd advise using a sample editor like cool edit 2000
(http://www.syntrillium.com) to do this sort of conversion, rather than
an mp3 player than happens to export to wav. I'd liken it to using a
screwdriver as a chissel; it might sort of do the job but the results
won't be ideal ;-).

I suspect music match to be buggy here :-(. My guess is it is adding
something to the wav header which is confusing fruityloops.
