Karen, Todd, Brad and I were at the workshop last night. Everyone said they would work next week. I suspect the workshop will not open on Dec. 30, but Mike or I will let you know next week. Dale is in Florida until spring so Mark is unable to attend until he saves enough to buy a car. Phil and Kelsey were absent as were Hildy and Maribel.

Mike had to work last night and called me to make sure I was able to open the door at 6:30 PM.

Todd and Karen demanned. I taught Brad how to make Ethernet cables, and he assisted in finishing the cables for the load tables. We swept the floor before leaving. I remembered to turn the furnace off.

Brad is going to copy contact info from two business (industrial, manufacturing) directories he found at the public library into a spreadsheet in preparation for marketing FGM again. Between the two directories there were about 50 contacts for South Bend, not much but a start. We didn't look at listings for surrounding cities and towns. I suggested Brad look at phone directories too.

Dale called from Florida. He wanted my email address to give to an e-scrap recycling company in Florida so they can email us printable prepaid mailing labels. The company is purchasing circuit boards for $2.50 - $3.00 per pound with prepaid shipping included, considerably better than the $0.50/pound we get locally and no additional cost to us. Dale took some personal scrap to Florida and sold it to the company to ensure they are legit. He says their operation is similar to ours but much larger and for-profit. The company doesn't process e-scrap; it simply collects and sells it. Their volume and location allow the company to obtain better prices downstream than we can.
