Now is as good as time as any... I will probably NOT make it tonight. Dead
hard drive in the office, scrambling to re-backup everything. (It was the
office backup drive that died).
TirgerDirect = 500g SATA-300 drive and SATA-150 controller for $112
shipped. Computer too old to use the mini pci-express cards for SATA-300.

The FreeBox we picked for Perley has problems. I tested it this morning
at home. The mobo battery is bad and won't keep the system date in BIOS.
Therefore, the kernel forces a file system check every boot. In
addition, the mouse doesn't work.
I am going to drop off the problem box and pull one of the systems your
crew prepped and tested for the Saturday class. I'll bring the borrowed
system back tonight.
