If configured properly, while in the track mode, the output of the =
primary
controller tracks the measurement of the secondary controller.  =
Therefore,
the transition from manual or track, back to auto, will be bumpless
(secondary controller measurement will equal its set point from the =
primary
controller).

I have some questions about the cascade configuration of two PID blocks. =
In
case of clamping in the secondary block, what happens with the output of =
the
primary block?

For example, if the secondary block clamps at 50% output, I think that =
the
primary block should not keep integrating because in this a windup can =
occur
at its output.

If I am right, the anti-windup works when the BCALCO of the secondary =
block
goes to the FBK and BCALCI of the primary block. Do I need anything else =
to
prevent windup?
