I can answer the why: your workfile is corrupted.

The CIOCFG relies on the workfile to display what's in the CP. The Select
screen shows what's running in the CP memory. So that's why you see the
discreppancy when the workfile is corrupted.

Read Helpful Hint HH980 for procedures on how to recover from this.

Does anybody have a solution for recovering blocks that show up in select
but not in ICC.  This has occurred in a CP40B.  Also, how does this happen?
