Wahid,

Event-Driven scripts is a possible solution. See PSS 27S-7A9 B3. I've
included the PSS and manual in an e-mail to you.

A VAS-IT utility - basically re-useable application engineering - called
cpShell can be used. I've sent you the documentation for this item. They are
drafts because we chose not to release this as a "standard" product. The
VAS-IT release is the same as buying a service in terms of support.

I've also sent you a document covers all of the alternatives.

All,

If anyone else wants these documents, just let me know.

Subject: [foxboro] How to append a text file from sequence
block

I need a datafile to store the analysis data calculated by the
sequence block.
I cannot keep it in historian because it is in text format.

How can I write those text and numbers to a text file?

If this is not possible, how can I activate another shell script
from the sequence
        block?

        Thank you.
