Dale,

If the Commit was done, you should check for the following:

*D:\ usr\fox\sp\log.#### : check for a recent file to find entries like this 
for the letterbug (OS1A3B might be different for FD30B):
        LOG 15:57 [GCLBUG] OS1A3B request.ksh...................Completed 
        WRN 15:57 [GCLBUG] OS1A3B Generating default PLCs.......Completed 
        LOG 15:57 [GCLBUG] OS1A3B preinstall.ksh................Completed 
        LOG 15:57 [GCLBUG] OS1A3B postinstall.ksh...............Completed 
        LOG 15:57 [GCLBUG] OS1A3B Install Operating System......Completed

*D:\ usr\fox\sp\files\ : You should see CMX[GCLBUG].BIN and 
CFG[GCLBUG].something files here, as well as DB[GCLBUG].init and DB[GCLBUG].UC.

All of those need to be present for the Commit to have been successful.

Hello all knowing list.....

I have a FD30B that they want me to install but I cannot get it to Boot.  It is 
on a Version 8.6 I/A System with a P91 Server 2003.  I've tried the hardware 
elsewhere (Same System in Same Slot but Different Letterbug) and it works fine. 
 So Hardware is ruled out.  However it will not boot on this system with it's 
own LetterBug and I've tried changing the Letterbugs several time in case I had 
a bad one.  I see a Letter Bug for it in System Management and I assume all has 
been committed correctly.  Does anybody have any idea of some files I could 
check?  I would assume the software is correct as well or the other one would 
not boot either.
