The Modbus slave driver for the FDSI is listed in BuyAutomation.com as

We offer Modbus RTU Slave support in the DI30 based integrator. Have
your account representative contact the IPS I/A Series Device
Integration group for pricing and availability.

My understanding - I can't look it up at the moment - is that the FDSI
based Modbus RTU offering supports both master and slave operation.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [foxboro] Can DCS Be the MODBUS Slave?

Dear All,
 =3D

Is it possible to configure to the DCS a modbus RS-232 connection but
defining the DCS as the SLAVE device? How easy is this? Do this require
a quick-fix or something similar (Update of I/A or of the FDSI for
example)? =3D

 =3D

regards,
 =3D

Dimitris
